As the daylight hours continue to shorten and more of us are out running at dawn or at dusk, I want each and every one of you to BE SAFE. In one of the larger online running communities I belong to, I just read one member’s story of being hit by a car while out on a run. Yeah. Hit by a car. (Luckily, although his injuries meant he had to stop running to heal for awhile, in the end he made a full recovery!)
When it comes to dealing with traffic, your choices have a huge effect on the situation. So let’s do everything we can to stay visible out there!
Get your reflective gear.
Get your light-up gadgets.
Get your bright clothing and PLEASE WEAR IT! Because nobody leaves the house for a run thinking, “I’m going to get hurt tonight.”
Worn on your hands in the perfect position to light your path and be seen, each weatherproof Knuckle Light is a super bright 45 Lumens on high power–comparable to most mid-priced headlamps, so you get twice the amount of light in a comfortable, easy to wear option that is a better light for running and walking.
